Gender equality is currently gaining prominence: the fable of the animal kingdom, coined from several authors including the first lady, the IPOB leader, a senator and political analyst has shown the deep chaotic disposition of our dear country.
After GEJ, we thought we needed a man, strong and powerful; willful and bold: we got the man in Pres. Buhari, but we also got a failed state which is worse than it was under GEJ and completely more clueless as they keep blaming failure in the administration on GEJ rather than work and show results. These have prompted some Nigerians to look into another gender for leadership; we have seen several women hold positions that has never been held by women in the past; THERE IS A NEW GLOBAL REVOLUTION. The women are taking over and they are doing a very good job from Sheryl Sandberg’s Facebook to Angela Merkel’s Germany, May’s UK, Helen Sirleaf’s Liberia and Awosika’s Firstbank – there are outperforming their male folks at all levels.
The women in power are doing great because of the hidden expectation for them to fail. They have a lot to prove, to show that what a man can do, a woman can do (better).
A WOMAN PRESIDENT MAY BE ALL WE NEED – women are more compassionate and very conscious; unlike PMB who has little passion and less consciousness (health-wise too) of modern activities and globalization, yet thinks in the past; however, women have immersed ability to adapt. A female leader will face very strong opposition from Nigerian criminal elite; but, unlike their male counterparts who can settle over some drinks a female leader will definitely try to incapacitate this criminals. Funny enough, there isn’t anymore prominent man in this country, with enough will to lead without bias and prejudice; but, there are a few women.
Linda is a serial entrepreneur; she has never been caught faking it or trying to be lesser neither has she any form of lack of self-esteem. I would vote for Linda for president because i know she won’t take some nonsense. She may get a little shady to protect her interest (Linda is strictly about winning – she loves to win). Provided her goals are to make Nigeria better, there is no loss with Linda. She is young and very active. She has grown a business that was unpopular in Nigeria and has managed to keep exploring new frontiers
Some readers will wonder why her name did not come first; an element of surprise is never a bad idea. Unlike Linda, madam has the experience; she has seen all the walls of governance, politics and economics; currently, she is our fix in 2019. If we are a sincere and unified country, she will be the subject of our clamour for a good leader. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala now chairs GAVI. Before she became chairperson, GAVI and their works were unpopular; now, we have seen countless interviews about GAVI because of her powerful personality. Another striking thing about her is her evasive skills – which is a skill every good leader must have. She has been through under the bus severally in an attempt to tag her as corrupt and has repeatedly came out victorious and unscathed!
I will personally vote for her! she is phenomenal. And she is a woman! Her achievement outweighs her gender. She is a superman! From Politics to business to UN. She is there excelling like the HOD of success. She has the Angela Merkel outlook and the Bill Clinton style. She is a top choice for Aso rock
She should be president of West Africa; she has dual nationality (Nigeria and Cameroon). I think she has the formula (She studied chemistry) Nigeria needs. How she has ascended to the top shows how hard working and resilient she is. Isn’t that what we need in Nigeria. I know the list just got hotter. I know… she is a true humble person and even got a snap-shop with my friend. She is that accessible, yet she is the Chairman of Firstbank! Much respect.
